I definitely don’t want to achieve some kind of rock star status.

I’d like to just work – steadily work – and do parts that I enjoy doing.

I have kids and I want to have a long life and there are certain things that are conducive to that and certain things that aren’t. I’ve opted for the road of happiness and long life.

But the drugs are kind of like taboo, at least among me and my friends and the people I’ve worked with.

But my favorite period for actors is the 70s. I think so many great movies were made in the 70s. The 90s just seem to be a confused decade. Nobody knows, really, what’s going on.

My father went to college for drama in Pittsburgh, and so did my mother, and then my mother was a steadily working New York theater actress. They kind of quit when I was born. They did that for, like, 10 years before they had kids and then I was born and they were not into that lifestyle for kids.

I think about the period of, like, the '70s and early '80s where nobody had money to make big movies and there was no CGI or anything like that and people had to get super creative. And then, you know, when you've got somebody who can paint you any picture on a computer and you get hundreds of millions of dollars to make a movie, its almost like the creativity diminishes somewhat.

I like Seinfeld when I see it and The Gary Shandling Show, but nothing that I watch religiously. I actually hate watching television.

Egos seem to be a lot more frequent. I've been to loads of parties that were just crazy - whatever you would call Hollywood parties - and it's not like piles of cocaine on the tables and chicks naked, running around.

On Drawing Flies, I wasn't supposed to be in it. I just went up there to visit people and the living arrangements were really miserable.
